The Cooperative Division has organised a Financial Management Seminar for all Fisheries Cooperatives involved in the operation of the fuel pumps in Dominica.

The training will be held on Wednesday 14th March, 2012 at the Fisheries Division Conference Room on the Dame Eugenia Charles Boulevard at 9:00am.

 The Aim & Objectives are as follows:

Aim:

1. To enable participants to develop appropriate skills in designing financial systems records and procedure and preparing gas pump services by respective cooperative societies.
2. To harmonize financial systems, records, procedures and accounts for the efficient and effective management of cooperatively operated gas pumps

Objectives:

1. To enable participants to recognize the role and value of appropriate financial records, system and procedures
2. To enable participants to read, understand, analyze and interpret financial reports, including receipts and payments account and trading, income and expenditure statements.
